everything in its time, or procrastination

i've been looking at this pile of cardboard and other stuff with an idea for a sculpture-painting. i won't reveal how long it's been waiting but it's been more than a minute. as i looked at it today, i wondered if the spark for it was gone, or if it just needed more time to come together more coherently in my mind. if not, then why, why haven't i just started and see what comes. do you experience this procrastination thing, with your art or other things in life? oh good, i figured. well, let's be kind to ourselves and get to it when we get to it and trust the timing of things. and, at some point do the thing or take it off the list, and trust that decision just the same.
