pauses, sputters, wonders

i haven't written/posted in a while. perhaps because i'm not painting a lot. that's a question as much as a statement. it's not ennui. is it the current US zeitgeist (definition: general intellectual, moral, and cultural climate of an era [i kind of choke on 'moral']) zapping my energy. 

i've hit some hard truths lately. i feel and live some hard paradoxes along with the truths.

i know that artists will say their art is their refuge, where they go when they don't know where to go or what to do. is something wrong with me then. no. everyone arts or not their own way. i find it feels too... i'mnotsurewhat actually, but it is that. 

and so. here's some marks that might be art and might not. paradox, always.
