accidental useful art - bookmarks

one day i was trimming a piece i had painted on a former cardboard cracker box, and looked at the scraps left over. as i held them, it was so clear they would make excellent bookmarks. since i love making use of recycled materials, it was so delightful the pieces would live on to add whimsy, color, and texture to people's beloved books and bookshelves.
