Every day I pick three words to help guide me.  Today, “trust” came forward.  I couldn’t remember when that had come up before, so I went searching for some inspiration and hopefully context as to why it came to me.

"Forget all the reasons why it won’t work. And believe the one reason why it will."

-- Unknown

"Have enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time."

-- Maya Angelou

"If a thing loves, it is infinite."

-- William Blake

"You see, you closed your eyes. That was the difference. Sometimes you cannot believe what you see, you have to believe what you feel. And if you are ever going to have other people trust you, you must feel that you can trust them, too–even when you’re in the dark. Even when you’re falling."

-- Mitch Albom

"None of us knows what might happen even the next minute, yet still we go forward. Because we trust. Because we have Faith."

-- Paulo Coehlo

"We’re never so vulnerable than when we trust someone – but paradoxically, if we cannot trust, neither can we find love or joy."

-- Walter Anderson

"The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them."

-- Ernest Hemmingway

“All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust.”

-- J.M. Barrie (Peter Pan)

“We're paying the highest tribute you can pay a man. We trust him to do right. It's that simple.”
-- Harper Lee

“To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim you don't grab hold of the water, because if you do you will sink and drown. Instead you relax, and float.”

-- Alan W. Watts

"We need people in our lives with whom we can be as open as possible. To have real conversations with people may seem like such a simple, obvious suggestion, but it involves courage and risk."

-- Thomas Moore

“Dance. Smile. Giggle. Marvel. Trust... Love... Believe. Most of all, enjoy every moment of the journey, and appreciate where you are at this moment instead of always focusing on how far you have to go.”
-- Mandy Hale

"He who does not trust enough will not be trusted."

-- Lao Tzu

“Trust is the glue of life. It's the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It's the foundational principle that holds all relationships.”

-- Stephen R. Covey

"Surrender.  Breathe.  Allow.  Receive."

-- Martha Beck
